Greenbasket is an eCommerce Marketplace for Retail Commerce. The marketplace connects communities to (a) local vendors for buying healthy and local foods (b) ethnic vendors globally.
We are working with Vendors globally to signup on Greenbasket platform. If you have any specific Vendor to be listed, please let us know via Contact Us form.
As a customer, you will have to input your zipcode and we will list the stores signed-up on Greenbasket platform that are in your neighbourhood and also stores around the world that ships to your neighborhood.
Greenbasket connects the customer with the online stores and the vendor is responsible to process your orders. Greenbasket has stringent SLA's for the vendor to ensure the customer orders are processed with described quality and time-lines.
The customers pays for the "shopping cart products price + delivery cost or shipping cost" if applicable.
The Stores may provide one -or- more of the following fulfillment option to the customers:
1) InStore Pickup
2) Same Day Delivery
Orders are delivered based on the selected fulfillment options
As with any service, there may be charges. The fulfillment charges are determined by the store owners. Each store may have different charges or promotions. The fulfillment charges will be made transparent by Greenbasket to the customer at the time of Checkout
No, you can't order from multiple stores at the same time. But you can place orders specific to individual stores.
To start ordering from Greenbasket, you can visit www.gogreenbasket.com and enter your zip code to view the vendors registered on Greenbasket platform. You will be able to place orders from any of the vendors registered for your location.
There is an option for Guest checkout. You will need to create an account to view prior orders (history), tracking information for the orders and to subscribe to our promotions. You can register using your Facebook or Google Accounts.
Once you’ve signed up, you can click on My Account at the top right corner of the home page. Here you can edit your account information.
1) Enter your zip code and pick a store of your choice
2) From the store page browse/search for products and add them to the cart
3) To checkout, provide your login credentials or continue as guest
4) Enter your delivery information,delivery preferences and payment mode
5) Now you can review and place your order
6) You will receive an order confirmation shortly via your registered email
You can find the various products under each store either by the departments, the search window or with the special request option.
If the item you are looking for is not listed in the Store's inventory, you should be able to see a Special Request option next to the Search field where you can input details such as name, brand, and quantity of the item you wish to request. The price of this item will be determined only after the Store reviews the item requested. Upon your confirmation, the Store will process the special request items. This additional price will be added to your order.
If an item is not available, you can request the store for a different brand of the same product or a similar item by adding a Special Request
You can cancel your order 2 hours prior to the processing cut-off time for NO cancellation fee. If you want to add or change the order, please cancel the existing order and place a new order. Cancellation of your order within 2 hours of your delivery schedule, will incur a fee of $20, that is used for the delivery and store processing fee.
Yes, you can let the shopper know your concerns/requirements for every individual item you shop for by providing the necessary information in the notes sections in the basket. You could also add any additional or final instruction in the delivery preferences during checkout.
When an item in your order is out of stock or is unavailable at the time of PACKING, we will try our best to replace it with a similar item. Based on your delivery preferences at the time of checkout, the shopper will either call /text you to confirm the replacement of the items. You could also not opt for a replacement and you will be refunded -or- charged for the difference of replacement items.
As we are rapidly expanding our online inventory, we are yet to attain data on some of the items and we sincerely apologize for incorrect information if found. In the event of the product information being missing or incorrect kindly let us know and we shall address the issue at the earliest.
We do not deliver tobacco or tobacco based products. However we do deliver alcohol and we reserve the right to request or a valid photo ID to verify that the recipient meets the local state law requirements.
In the case of Alcohol delivery, the recipient must be present at the time of delivery. For other orders, we will be happy to accommodate any special instructions given by you regarding delivery preferences.
Store shoppers are trained to pick good quality products. We do have service level agreements with the Stores to pack the best available items.
Refund policy varies from store to store and we recommend you to contact the store for any returns or exchange. If the store wrongly process your order, you can contact Greenbasket for refund.
You can check the status of your order by clicking on Order History under My Account. Also, you will be notified by text and email during the different stages of the process.
You will be able to contact your Shopper/Driver through the contact details provided by the notifications during the different stages of the shopping and delivery process.
We are currently working on building Android and iOS apps with an extremely simple interface so that you can order the items you need on the move.
We currently accept payment through all major US credit and debit cards. In addition the stores may provide an option for (a) Cash on Delivery (b) Cash at Pickup
The store may charge for Same Day Delivery, Shipping or InStore pickup. Any charges that the store adds in addition to the Checkout items will be explicitly listed for users to view and make an informed decision before confirming the order
Once we receive your order, we temporarily authorize your card for $1 for authorization. Upon processing your order, considering any possible changes such as replacements, out of stock items and quantity adjustments, the total amount may change. The actual amount charged will be charged only after the store processes your order
Yes, you will be receiving the original store receipt
Yes, you can tip the packers and drivers if you feel satisfied with the service provided. However, you are not obligated to tip!
No, the prices are the same as in store. There is NO markups and you shall receive the original store receipt.How can I avail discounts while ordering?
Your account automatically gets updated with credits for every discount you receive and you can also manually enter Promo Codes at the time of entering your credit card information. However, store coupons or discounts are prerogative of stores and they may choose to accept or decline for online orders.
Most store items can be exchanged or refunded with a receipt within 10 days of purchase. For store specific exceptions, please visit Returns & Refund policy
If there is an error on Store part related to your order, we will issue a credit for your order and any applicable shipping charges.
We will email you once your return or exchange is processed. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the time you mail your return/exchange for it to be processed.
